Mosunmola Balogun, is contrary to Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011, and the law prescribes life imprisonment for anyone found guilty of the offence of defilement.
“He over powered the child and had unlawful sexual intercourse with her in the toilet," the prosecutor said.
When the charge was read to him however, the accused pleaded not guilty and presiding judge, Justice Sedotan Ogunsanya, granted him bail in the sum of N1 million with two sureties in like sum, while adjourning the case till March 23 for trial.
