‘Hello from the other side’: hospital patient posts Adele ‘Hello’ lyric in window, everyone answers

A hospital patient in Ohio who posted Adele lyrics in her bedroom window received a huge response from “the other side.”
Vicki Robinson, 27, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis nearly 20 years ago and has lived in and out of  hospitals for more than half her life. And one day when her genetic disorder was causing her more trouble than usual, she decided to share a message from her window to help
her feel better.
That message was a lyric from Adele’s No. 1 hit, Hello, which read in bold, black letters: “Hello from the other side.”
Across the street, Katie Bingman and Binh To-Thorn from Case Western Reserve University saw the message and decided to respond back with the next sentence from the popular song: “I must’ve called 1,000 times.”

“It brings a little joy to someone we didn’t even know,” said To-Thorne to WKYC News.
But it didn’t stop there. Nearby residents in buildings who saw the lyrics joined in on the fun, with one person posting a few words from the song’s second verse reading: “I hope you’re well” to Robinson.

“It’s like a big hug,” Robinson said to WKYC.
